Pain Points
-
DiffIculty accessing key components
Most drip coffee makers are designed to access the water chamber and grounds basket from above, meaning the user has to pull the coffee maker out from under the counter to prepare it.
-
Uneven Saturation of Grounds
The water spout is usually smaller than the grounds basket and doesn’t dispense evenly onto the grounds. This leads to a waste of precious coffee grounds and the end result is a watered-down cup.
-
Impossible To Clean
The water tank in most drip coffee makers is in the back of the machine and is very deep making it difficult to access for cleaning. This leads to mold and bacteria growth in the water chamber.
